New: Instant Client Search on Your Client List

We would like to draw your attention to a feature that has been live on your client list for some time and that we have just refined: the instant client search box at the top of the page, next to the "Filter" button.

 WHAT IT DOES

Simply type a few characters - any part of the abbreviation OR any digits of the client number - and a short list of matching clients appears immediately below the box. There is no need to press Enter, scroll the table or changepages. As you keep typing, the list narrows down.

 HOW TO USE IT

  - Type "Mu" to see all clients whose abbreviation contains "Mu" (anywhere in the name, not only at the beginning).

  - Type "104" to find the client whose number contains those digits.

  - Each result line shows: the client number, the abbreviation, the year of birth and gender, and a small internal reference. This makes it easy to tell similar records apart at a glance.

  - On the right of each result you will find two shortcut buttons:

QIK - jumps directly to the client's QIKtest reports

ST   - jumps directly to the client's Symptom Tracking overview

A click anywhere else on the line opens the QIKtest reports as well.

 WHY IT MATTERS

For accounts with hundreds or thousands of clients, opening a record used to mean either scrolling through several pages or remembering the exact client number. The search box reaches any client in a couple of keystrokes and, with the small reference shown on each line, also helps you distinguish clients who happen to share the same initials.

ALSO NEW ON THE CLIENT LIST

Two other small improvements have shipped alongside the search box:

   - Page size selector. At the top right of the client list (next to the page navigation), a "Page size" pulldown now lets you choose how many clients per page (25, 50, 75 ... up to 200). Useful for accounts with many clients - one wider page often beats clicking through several.

   - Faster page loads. A series of internal optimisations (better caching of localised text, lighter database access, compressed output) have measurably reduced the time it takes for the client list and most other pages to appear. The benefit is most noticeable on accounts with large client lists.

WHERE TO FIND IT

Log in as usual, open your client list (the default page after login). The search box is at the top of the table, between "Filter" and the column headers. Nothing has been moved; it has simply been improved.

If you have any feedback or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us - your input is what shapes these improvements.
